Hopscotch partners with select insurance companies to ensure families have access to care. Below is the list of insurance companies and plans Hopscotch is in-network with.
Please note that any plans managed by Medicare or Medicaid, as well as community or state plans, are not currently supported by Hopscotch. Medicaid plans administered by Magellan are also not supported.
Hopscotch is active in the following states:
Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and West Virginia.

Insurance FAQs
How do I know if my plan is in-network?
Our current list of providers accepts the insurance plans above. If you want to investigate an out-of-pocket appointment, self-pay rates are $130 - $200 per session. If we are out-of-network with your plan, we can provide you with the documentation (i.e - superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Granted that you’ve met your deductible, many plans reimburse for up to 70% of sessions. Please note, this does not apply to Medicaid/Medicare. Why is my insurance not accepted?
There are many reasons why an insurance plan is not initially verified. To get an estimate of insurance coverage for a visit with a Hopscotch therapist, we’ll need to confirm with the insurance provider your coverage amounts as well as whether there is a deductible that you have to meet. Please send our support team the front and back of your insurance card to confirm the insurance coverage amount for our therapy services. Also, please include the date of birth of the patient who needs services.
What can I do if my plan is not accepted?
At the moment, we only have contracts with commercial insurance companies. You can still proceed with appointments with a Hopscotch therapist and pay our self-pay rates. These range in cost from $85 - $150. we are out-of-network with your plan, we can provide you with the documentation (i.e - superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
What are my deductible and coinsurance?
According to some plan benefits, you are responsible for 100% of the cost of mental health appointments until the deductible is met. Once the deductible is met, you will have a certain coinsurance. The cost of appointments varies by appointment type and length. We recommend you call your insurance plan directly for a current quote.
When will I get charged for sessions?
You will be charged once the clinician that you are working with verifies the session. This may occur a day after the session occurs or up to 2 weeks after the session has happened. You will receive an email notifying you that your card will be charged 24h beforehand.
